Lioness

From her worn garments we can imagine the story of a difficult life, yet we observe how she stands with such noble posture. The look and energy of a strong women with inner beauty. This work was inspired by an old photograph taken in the early 20th century. This lioness evokes admiration and conviction in female power. We often delegate strength when we are amongst the men in our lives, this is through choice. With a child in our arms, we are warriors without compromise.
